Eligibility For Admission Required

Minimum qualification for admission is a pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics:

• 1 Intermediate examination in Science.
• 2 First year of three degree course in science.
• 3 10+2 examination (academic stream) in science.
• 4 Pre-degree examination.
• 5 Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Age

No bar.

Fitness

Candidates should be mentally and physically fit and free from any defect likely to interfere with active outdoor duties.

They will have to submit medical certificates of fitness granted by a registered medical practitioner to this effect.

Procedure For Admission

Candidates are selected for admission through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

Fees

It would be charged in accordance with the policy decisions of the Govt.

Facilities & Activities

Hostel Facilities

Although desirous students are permitted to stay with their local guardians, hostel facilities are provided to all the students adjacent to the campus at moderate charges. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls.

Sports & Co-Curricular Activities

Sports out-fits are provided by the Institute for physically/personality development of the student. Indoor games and cultural activities are organised in all the hostels of the Institute.

Medical Care

Services of a qualified medical practitioner have been requisitioned to look after the health and medical needs of the students at a nominal charge.

Practical Training

This part of the course is known as Diploma in Pharmacy (Part-III). After having appeared in Part-II examination for the Diploma in Pharmacy conducted by the Board, a candidate shall be eligible to undergo practical training.

The training is arranged by the institute in Hospitals, Dispensaries and such other institutions as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, in accordance with the provisions of Education Regulations, 1991 for the Diploma Course in Pharmacy. It should not be less than five hundred hours spread over a period of not less than three months.

A pass in Diploma in Pharmacy (Part-I and Part-II) and satisfactory completion of Diploma in Pharmacy (Part-III) enables a candidate for registration as a Pharmacist.

Educational Tour

Educational tours are organized for final year students at various important Pharmaceutical centres.
